7-Day Cultural, Panoramic and Big 5 Safari

Our 6 night 7-day safari gives guests an opportunity to experience the many different cultures South Africa has to offer and explore a small section of the 2 million hectares that makes up the Kruger National Park, as well as the breath-taking panoramic route. With your own guide for the duration of your trip to make sure you are looked after to make your safari “Your African Dream”

Day 1

You will be collected in JHB airport by your cultural guide and transferred to Lesedi African Lodge and Cultural village. On arrival at Lesedi in the late afternoon, guests are welcomed in the traditional African way with a suitable escort to ‘their’ village. Once settled in comfortable, traditionally styled rooms, guests will then have the opportunity of discovering the many colorful and fascinating aspects of the cultures of the people of Lesedi. You are then treated to a Pan African Buffet in the Nyama Choma Restaurant – “The Greatest African Feast” (Dinner, Bed & Breakfast)

 

Day 2

In the morning after awakening to the sounds of traditional maskande guitar or squash-box, a full English breakfast is served in the restaurant. Your cultural guide will collect you to embark on a full day tour of the City of Pretoria, you visit the Voortrekker Monument. Light lunch can be enjoyed at the monument cafeteria. Own Account. After lunch we visit the Union Buildings to view the largest statue in Africa of Pres. Mandela. Late afternoon we book into our hotel.

 

Day 3

After breakfast we make our way to the Cradle of humankind tour. On route the guide will enlighten the guest on the history of area. A traditional lunch can be enjoyed. (Meals For you own Account) Late afternoon we make our way back to our hotel. Hot air balloon safari can be added to this day (optional)

 

Day 4

This morning we will collect you to embark on a full day tour of the panoramic route on your way to our guesthouse. On route we will stop at Blyde River Canyon (third largest canyon in the world) see the Three Rondavels, Visit Bourke’s Luck, Wonder View, Pinnacle Rock, Lisbon Falls, Bridal Falls, Mac-Mac Falls. We arrive at our guesthouse at approx. 18h00 and Dinner is at one of the restaurants in town for your own account.

 

Day 5

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the gate of the Kruger National Park. In an open safari vehicle. Game viewing begins as soon as we enter the gates, and we look for Giraffe, Zebra and various antelope species on our way to the camp, where we arrive by approximately 2 pm so that you may rest and relax after the drive.

 

Day 6

We rise before the sun and embark on a full day game drive in the Kruger National Park in search of the Big 5 – Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant and Rhino. These are known to be the 5 most dangerous animals to hunt, but we get to view them up close from the safety of an open 4 x 4 safari vehicle. During the hottest part of the day, we stop at one of the camps to have lunch. In the afternoon we depart on another game drive for yet another brilliant wildlife experience lead by your guide. We return to the camp for Dinner.

A Bush Walk or night drive can be arranged during these days (optional extras)

All meals & Drinks will be for your own account

 

Day 7

This morning we head out on a final early morning game drive in search of game that may have eluded us thus far. Breakfast back at your camp, and we leave the Kruger National Park to Nelspruit International Airport for you Flights back to Johannesburg. (Flights Included)
